Thursday After Six is a collective of Sotheby’s Institute of Art alumni driven by a shared passion for contemporary, fine, and decorative art. What began as casual gallery meet-ups and short social media reviews has evolved into something more intentional: a platform for informed, candid reflections on London’s contemporary art underbelly. We realised we wanted to document not just what we were seeing, but how it felt to engage with it:
The art, atmosphere, curatorial tensions, market trends, and the conversations happening beneath the surface. Each week, we publish our honest reviews of private views, exhibition openings, and art-world events, capturing the pulse of contemporary London with a particular focus on exciting emerging talent, all through the authentic, informed, and deeply enthusiastic lens of two aspiring art-world professionals.
